Helping a customer choose the right flooring for their home isn’t just about picking a particular look, it’s also about creating a livable solution that fits individual needs.

Recent customers from Walderslade, Carlos & Carla, had some concerns about installing new carpets throughout their home. They have asthma and were worried about how the dust from carpets would affect them. We discussed their lifestyle and talked through different flooring options that would work for their home and health needs.

They opted for an installation of Quickstep Livyn to three bedrooms, their landing, stairs and conservatory. The Quickstep Livyn is a luxury vinyl tile (LVT) product that delivers a contemporary look whilst still maintaining a hardwearing, waterproof and low maintenance surface.

Our installers, Ray and Matt, spent a week preparing and installing the flooring throughout the customer’s home. This included hard boarding the original floorboards to ensure that they had a sound and flat sub-floor. This is critical for any LVT flooring.

We specialise in solid flooring fitting to stairs and Ray and Matt created a seamless finish, perfectly connecting the hall to the landing.

We love the contemporary finish that this achieved; other contractors on the job were equally as impressed! We hope that Carlos & Carla enjoy their new dust free, low maintenance flooring.
